Mission

Our mission is to give every person the ability to have fresh food whether or not they have the transportation, means or time to get it. To do this we focus on food deserted areas and the people who live in them. 

What is a food deserted area?

A food deserted area is an area that lacks grocery stores with fresh fruit, vegetables and other healthful foods. 

Why don't we use the more popular term "food desert"?

"Food desert" implies a natural or accidental condition. We want to make it clear that this condition is not natural or accidental, it is created by social, economic and political factors.
